Love this cozy little spot! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and they even have the cutest cat, Butter! Their brownies are absolutely delicious — seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. I usually order their hand-brewed coffee or a dirty oat, and both are really amazing. Every time I visit, I feel so relaxed — it almost feels like home. I’m totally in love with this place and can’t wait to visit again!

A small but very calming place I drop by usually before work to chill… can’t get the cat pic but it’s cute and the coffee is nice… personally like the one with the plum wine taste note and I ordered it with a cup of ice to try

A regular customer here. I like the coffee and kombucha and my bf loves their hand drip. Lovely place… the coffee, vibe, people and the famous Butter. And it’s super pets friendly you can unleash and let them mingle.

A wonderful find. We took a chance based on good reviews online and the fact they had pictures of cats! We had one raisin/oatmeal cookie and one chocolate chip. Quite possibly the best cookies I have eaten in my 63 years…and I’ve had a lot of cookies. The atmosphere was charming and casual and the staff was very nice and attentive. We had just recently had coffee so we didn’t order anything to drink at OrcaBrew but if the drinks are like their cookies it should be delicious. We will be back, soon.

This café offers a wide selection of filter beans. I enjoyed their soft oatmeal cookies and banana cake. It would be ideal if the filter coffee profile were more distinctive. There’s a cool LKY mural just behind the coffee bar, and right in the middle of the space, there’s a big beautiful tree that, together with all the wooden touches, makes the place feel really relaxing. It’s the kind of spot you can just chill. The owners are very approachable and engaging too.

This cafe in George Town is an absolute gem and my go-to spot! The staff are incredibly friendly, always making you feel welcome. And you absolutely can't miss meeting Butter, the famous pet staff member – he's got his own unique style and is such a character! I could happily spend my entire morning here, whether I'm on my own, catching up with friends, or enjoying quality time with my daughters. Their latte and cookies are divine, and my daughters are obsessed with the bagel with ice cream. Highly recommend for a fantastic atmosphere and delicious treats!

One of the best cafe I’ve visited in Penang. I've tried their crème brûlée and iced latte, which were both delightful. The dessert was creamy with a perfectly caramelized top, and the iced latte came in a beautiful glass that made the whole experience feel a bit more special. The cafe environment is fantastic. It has a warm, rustic charm with a lot of thoughtful details. One side of the wall features a large moss-covered world map, while another showcases a mural of a father and child, adding a nostalgic, homey touch. Natural light pours in from the high ceiling and skylights, creating a bright yet calming atmosphere. One of the most charming parts of the visit was the orange cat sleeping peacefully on the coffee table. It felt like the cat was part of the cafe character, relaxed, friendly, and completely at home. Watching it nap nearby while sipping coffee was oddly comforting. There’s a nice variety of wooden and rattan seating, and even a small tree growing indoors, which adds to the cozy, nature-inspired decor. Whether you’re here alone with a book or catching up with friends, it’s a place that invites you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Highly recommended if you’re looking for good coffee and a cafe with personality. I’ll definitely be back.

Chanced upon this gem of a spot when I was in search of coffee and this place exceeded expectations. You’d find good vibes & a peaceful ambience. Cherry on the cake is that coffee is excellent - had an iced handbrew (gesha ice natural) and you can really taste the floral notes. Highly recommend when you’re in Penang Georgetown.
